In the mid-19th century, Gamla Jernboden was founded and still today supplies products to numerous companies and the manufacturing industry throughout Blekinge. The shop on the Viggen retail park in Ronneby is also open to do-it-yourselfers who appreciate really good quality.
– Here you can find everything from garden tools and lawnmowers to hand tools and power tools, personal protection equipment, fasteners – and much more besides, explains Johan.

Solving challenges – big and small
At Gamla Jernboden, the staff has broad knowledge, but the range is extensive. Sometimes specialists within specific product areas are needed to find the right solution.
– If there’s a challenge concerning fasteners, we do an initial analysis of the needs ourselves. When the products we have in stock don’t solve the challenges, Tappex’s expertise is always close at hand. They not only supply a standard range but also help with special products and smart solutions.
– If it’s a particularly difficult case, Tappex can accompany us to the customer to see the challenges on-site. An email conversation doesn’t always go all the way, explains Johan and concludes:
